Romantic backyard wedding in Hillsboro, Ohio

Ali and Daniel got married in her parent’s backyard in Hillsboro, OH. Originally, they were set to have their ceremony and reception in Mt. Sterling, KY but due to COVID-19, they decided to downsize for the safety of their friends and family.

I first met Ali and Daniel during their engagement session last fall at the Red River Gorge. They were all smiles and giggles the entire time much like their wedding. Their love for each other was palpable, and as a result, so much fun to photograph.

When we arrived at Lesia’s home, the enter house had been adorned with the most beautiful florals and a long family style dinner table set up outside. Their original florist from Mt. Sterling brought an entire van full of blooms to color their home. We went to the church for the majority of getting ready since it was covered wall to wall with stained glass. Ali was surprised with an appearance of some elderly family members and did a first look with her father. Afterwards, her and Daniel got hitched. We returned their home for a buffet styled afternoon meal and finished with some photos on their porch.

I’ve two are so deserving of each other and all the happiness in the world. I hope you enjoy a few snippets from their day.
