Melanie & Andrew split up their day photography into two sessions. They had their wedding the day prior and wanted an adventure honeymoon session the next day. I met them at the Red River Gorge and we took the sky lift up to Natural Bridge. When I met up with them, both still had the after glow of newly wed bliss.

When we reached the top, they helped each other get ready. We explored all facets of the bridge from the overlook to a cozy spot underneath which yielded my favorite portraits of the day. Etched in shadow on the side of a cliff was red heart that seemed to fit the occasion perfectly. If this wasn’t a sign of a session meant to be- then I don’t know what is!

Afterwards, we drove up to a secluded cliffside/lake view area to finish up the session. I thoroughly enjoyed working with this couple. Thinking back on this session absolutely delights me, and now I’m glowing.
