Witchy honeymoon session

When Brandi Potter asked me to go on a little hike with her and two dreamy clients, I couldn’t say no even though it was a little above freezing. We met Sami and James at Raven’s Run in Lexington, Kentucky for some adventuring. Sami and James may have gotten a bit muddy and wet, but they brought appropriate footwear and they were prepared.

I was immediately taken with Sami. She has an otherworldly presence-  red flaming hair, striking blue eyes, and flawless pale skin. Her ethereal presence gave this session a very witchy feel. Sami also had a flare for fashion. Bell bottom sleeves under a dress? Mind blown. As a fellow photographer, she knew the ins and outs of being seamless in front of the camera and didn’t mind getting a little wet and muddy for the photos. I could gush more about Sami, she was just so impressive. I’m pretty sure James thought so too.

We did a truncated hike to the waterfall. Played with some light and shadow, broke some icicles, snuggled, and enjoyed some much needed sun. I left the session so grateful for the beautifully sunny February day that we had been gifted.
