Black tie classic wedding at Kaden Tower in Louisville, Kentucky
When I arrived in Louisville, Kentucky, I immediately realized that Caitlyn was such a loved bride. She got ready at her parent’s home surrounded by all her ladies. There were tears, babies, and snacks- the makings of a perfect day. Chris even made an appearance via text which tugged at the heart strings – “I can’t wait to marry you”.
After we arrived at the venue, I was completely blown away by the transformation of the reception hall. It was simple, classic, and sophisticated. We were greeted by her proud grandmother on our way up to the roof for the first look.
Caitlyn and Chris booked this venue for the scalloped balcony at the top of the hotel. Unfortunately, it was raining but that didn’t stop them from enjoying an intimate moment together. In general, it was all smiles and tears- but we did manage to sneak a few moody poses in.
The wedding began and Caitlyn in true modern woman form, walked herself down the aisle. Her grandfather said a prayer and blessing which was so touching. They stood infront of a very impressive DIY floral wall. Emotions ran high and the happiness was palpable.
What followed was some seriously fun shenanigans. This was a crowd that definitely embraced a good party. Caitlyn and Chris gave them a night to remember. For the sake of brevity, the blog includes highlight images from the day.
